Bonaire is a Caribbean island just north of Venezuela, politically part of the Netherlands. Bonaire has world-class shore diving, much of it easy, and is thus well-suited for. Built 1639; Indian Rock art; Salt flats; Mangrove forests; Soroban beach. Along the coast you have multiple places that combine a dive school with. Jul 23, 2012 Almost all dive sites are on the leeward side of the island, so there are little to no waves. You might get a little light chop at some of the sites on Kline Bonaire, but even that would be very light. Most of the entries are rocky, or broken coral, or ironstone, so you will probably want booties and open-heel fins, but other than that, the entries should be very easy.

House Reef
There’s no better way to start your visit to Bonaire than with a guided checkout dive on one of our five fantastic house reefs. This way, you can attend the Bonaire Marine Park orientation and have a Divemaster or Instructor assisting you in the water with your buoyancy check.
Leeward Sites
We offer guided dives on sites between Salt Pier in the south and Oil Slick Leap in the north. This is a great option for divers who’d like to make the most of their dives with a local guide to point out interesting marine life and to do the navigating for you.
Hilma Hooker
No visit to Bonaire is complete without a dive on the famous Wreck of the Hilma Hooker. This 240 foot former cargo ship makes for a spectacular wreck that attracts a large amount of marine life as an artificial reef. You’ll dive from shore to a maximum depth of 100 feet/30 meters.
